Design & Build

After an initial meeting to discuss the requirements for your project we will provide a design brief/appraisal including site conditions and developer’s covenants.

Each design is site specific and created individually depending on client brief and budget.

We liaise with the local authority to ascertain planning requirements which may require resource consent approval .

Working in close collaboration with the client the design and concept drawings of the project are finalised including floor plans, elevations and cost analysis.

We liaise with numerous professional consultants including structural and geotechnical engineering, surveyors, truss and frame manufacturer and specialised suppliers to provide a full set of working drawings and specified documentation for submission to the local authourity for building consent approval.

This includes liaising directly with the council to process requests for further information until consent is granted. This can take up to three months to achieve.

On approval of building consent we obtain the necessary insurance and Registered Master Build 10-Year Guarantee prior to commencing construction.

Over many years we have established a close working relationship with a number of licensed builders and skilled tradespeople who are familiar with the design expectations of each of our projects.

We draw on the knowledge and talent of each of our specialised subcontractors which results in a carefully considered, individually designed contemporary house offering resiliency and energy efficiency and built using sustainable construction methods.

We comprehensively project manage each project to ensure a high quality outcome and present the client with an intelligently designed and constructed house, completed to an exceptionally high standard.
